The Ministry of Health emphasizes that localities must closely monitor the developments of storms and floods; review and adjust prevention plans and deploy response plans in accordance with reality. When storms affect the mainland, units must be on duty professionally, providing emergency care 24/7; ensuring continuous admission and treatment for people, without interruption. At the same time, fully prepare medicine, chemicals, supplies, equipment and backup power sources, arrange and stabilize medical examination and treatment facilities after floods.

Medical facilities in high-risk areas need to proactively protect and evacuate people and property from low-lying areas, which are likely to be flooded, flash floods, flash floods, and landslides. The Ministry of Health also requires strengthening disease supervision, early detection and timely handling; ensuring environmental sanitation, clean water sources, and food safety during and after storms and floods.

Units must report the damage situation, needs and assurance capabilities, propose support and send it to the Ministry of Health (Department of Planning and Finance, Department of Prevention, Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management) for synthesis and reporting to competent authorities.
