The Central Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital put Facility 2 into operation in Ngoc Than village, Kieu Phu commune, Hanoi city. This is an important milestone in the strategy of expanding scale and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment of the leading hospital in obstetrics and gynecology.

Facility 2 is built on a large, synchronous campus with a system of modern examination and treatment rooms and many amenities such as reception area, waiting area, pharmacy, canteen, coffee shop, convenience store, accommodation area for family members, free wifi and large-scale parking lot, creating favorable conditions for patients throughout the examination and treatment process.

On the occasion of official operation, from July 4-8, 2026, the hospital will implement a free examination program with 2,000 visits for people. Visitors are provided with free services such as gynecological examination, pregnancy examination, pregnancy ultrasound, breast ultrasound... directly performed by a team of leading experts and doctors. All program participants will also receive welcome gifts from the hospital.
Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Anh - Director of the Central Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital - said that the new facility has basically completed the preparations, ready to serve people with professional quality equivalent to Facility 1.

According to him, the hospital not only invests heavily in facilities but also pays special attention to building a friendly and convenient medical examination and treatment environment. Before operation, the hospital has repeatedly reviewed operating procedures, completed landscapes, signage systems, green trees and patient reception plans.

Because Facility 2 is located outside the inner city area, the hospital also fully prepares living conditions for patients and their families. Food, rest, accommodation, nutrition packages and temporary rest areas for relatives from distant provinces have all been arranged to help patients feel secure in treatment.
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Anh, putting Facility 2 into operation not only helps reduce the burden on Facility 1 but also creates conditions for the hospital to deploy more specialized techniques and high-quality services.

Wide infrastructure and modern equipment system will create favorable conditions for hospitals to develop new techniques and new treatment methods, better meeting the health care needs of the people," said Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Anh.
The equipment system at Facility 2 is synchronously and modernly invested, equivalent to Facility 1. Many devices are produced in 2025 such as diagnostic imaging systems, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound machines and equipment for surgery and endoscopy. In the near future, the hospital aims to deploy surgery with robot support.

In parallel with infrastructure investment, the hospital continues to build a high-quality human resource team through recruiting well-trained resident doctors and attracting many experienced experts.
According to the hospital director, Facility 2 is not a "sub-facility" but an expanded unit, operating under a unified management model with Facility 1. In the initial phase, he will directly manage operations here to ensure professional quality, and at the same time arrange many leading doctors and experts to work in specialized fields.

Modern facilities and a high-quality human resource team will ensure the quality of medical services. People can completely rest assured when coming for examination and treatment at Facility 2," Professor Nguyen Duy Anh affirmed.
