On October 26, a leader of the Binh Duong Department of Health said that the Department had just sent an urgent document to the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot City regarding strengthening the inspection and supervision of a number of medical examination and treatment facilities that have not been granted operating licenses in Thu Dau Mot City.
Among them, there is an unlicensed clinic called Tam An Clinic (located at Block B1.108, Becamex Hoa Loi social housing apartment building, Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city).
The clinic at the above address has not been granted an operating license, but has a sign stating that it provides medical examination services for adults and children.
Binh Duong Department of Health said that to ensure the health and safety of people, it requested the People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot city to direct relevant units to strengthen inspection and supervision of this unlicensed medical examination and treatment facility.
Binh Duong Department of Health also said that in Thu Dau Mot city, there are still dental clinics operating without a license for many years that have not been thoroughly handled, posing a risk to people's health and lives.
Previously, the Binh Duong Department of Health Inspectorate inspected, discovered and handled dental clinics in Thuan An and Di An cities.
The violating establishments include: Thien Tam Dental Clinic (Ward 1, An Phu Ward, Thuan An City); Dai Viet Dental Clinic (Nguyen Du Street, Binh Dang Ward, Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An City); Dong Sai Gon Dental Clinic (National Highway 1K, Tay B Ward, Dong Hoa Ward, Di An City); Saigon Dental Clinic (Nguyen An Ninh Street, Binh Minh 2 Ward, Di An Ward, Di An City).
The four facilities were each fined VND45 million for the administrative violation of "providing medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license". These facilities were additionally fined and had their operations suspended for 18 months.
The dental clinic (Tuong Lai 2, Thong Nhat 1 quarter, Moi street, Di An ward, Di An city) was fined 29 million VND and had its medical examination and treatment license revoked for 3 months.
Binh Duong Department of Health requested the People's Committees of Thuan An and Di An cities to monitor the above facilities. If there are repeat violations that affect people's health and lives, the police should be asked to intervene and handle the matter.
