On October 9, Binh Duong Department of Health said that the Department Inspectorate had coordinated with relevant units to conduct inspections and discovered many medical examination and treatment facilities in violation.
Including dental clinics that violate regulations on providing medical examination and treatment services without an operating license.
According to the Binh Duong Department of Health, the violating facilities include: Thien Tam Dental Clinic (Ward 1, An Phu Ward, Thuan An City); Dai Viet Dental Clinic (Nguyen Du Street, Binh Dang Ward, Binh Hoa Ward, Thuan An City);
Dong Sai Gon Dental Clinic (National Highway 1K, Tay B Quarter, Dong Hoa Ward, Di An City); Saigon Dental Clinic (Nguyen An Ninh Street, Binh Minh 2 Quarter, Di An Ward, Di An City).
Binh Duong Department of Health said that the above 4 facilities were each fined 45 million VND for the administrative violation of "providing medical examination and treatment services without a medical examination and treatment license".
These facilities were all additionally punished by having their operations suspended for a period of 18 months.
In addition to the above 4 facilities, the Binh Duong Department of Health Inspectorate inspected the Dental Clinic (Tuong Lai 2, Thong Nhat 1 Quarter, Moi Street, Di An Ward, Di An City).
This facility violated the law when it operated without sufficient basic information as required, employed practitioners without medical practice certificates, and did not create medical records as required.
Binh Duong Department of Health said that this facility was fined 29 million VND and had its medical examination and treatment license revoked for 3 months; and the medical examination and treatment practice certificate of Dr. Nguyen Thi Lai (working at this clinic) was revoked for 3 months.
Binh Duong Department of Health also said that it has sent an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of districts and cities to monitor and supervise the above facilities. If violations are detected, they will be handled or recommended to handle the violations according to regulations.
