On June 3, the Department of Health of Lam Dong province said that health units are coordinating with the education sector to implement phase 1 of the free health check-up program for students in 2026.

According to records, educational institutions and medical units have fully prepared human resources, equipment, and arranged scientific examination areas from receiving and entering data to clinical examination.
The coordination between the health and education sectors helps the examination process to take place smoothly, ensuring professional requirements.

During the actual inspection, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan visited and encouraged students and medical staff participating in the program; and praised the proactiveness of the units in implementing school health care activities.
Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested units to continue to strictly implement professional procedures, improve screening quality to detect early health problems for timely intervention and treatment.

Localities are also required to update student health data daily, ensuring progress and transparency in the implementation process.
As of the end of June 2nd, the whole province has organized health check-ups and screenings for 17,176 students out of a total of 686,431 students subject to the first phase of 2026.
