The South is experiencing a dry season with severe heat. According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Station, widespread heat will appear in many waves in March with the highest temperature reaching 37-38 degrees Celsius. The closer it gets to the end of the month, the stronger the heat will be.
In hot weather conditions, people are susceptible to a number of diseases, including diseases that directly harm the skin such as dry skin, sunburn, acne or even skin cancer.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, MSc. Dr. Phan Ngoc Huy - Department of Dermatology, Ho Chi Minh City Dermatology Hospital said that in Vietnam, especially during the hot season, people need to monitor the UV index. There are days when the index is very high and at an extreme warning level.

When the weather is hot and the UV index is high, people need to minimize outdoor activities, especially those with dark skin, cheek pain or vulnerable skin such as lupus redness. At the same time, limit sitting near windows, glass doors, porch roofs and should use curtains.
In addition, when going out, you need to apply sunscreen regularly, on average about 2-3 hours/time to protect your skin to the maximum.
Supplementing nutrients by drinking enough water, at least 2 liters/day, along with fruit juices, will help the skin become healthier.
It is necessary to ensure skin care procedures such as washing face, removing makeup, and exfoliating periodically to maintain skin health in hot weather.
