Homemade firecrackers exploded, 4 students injured

    Gia Lai - On January 3, the People's Committee of Ia Krai commune, Ia Grai district, Gia Lai province, said that a homemade firecracker explosion had just occurred in the area, seriously injuring four male students living in Doch Ia Krot village.

    The incident happened when V.D.P (born in 2010) made his own firecrackers from materials bought online and invited N.T.D, T.Q.T, N.M.T (also born in 2013) to come watch. All four students are students at Pham Hong Thai Secondary School, Ia Krai Commune.

    At that time, a loud explosion rang out, causing people nearby to run out and discover four male students seriously injured with injuries such as broken shin bones, peeled back skin, and injuries to their arms and legs.

    Relatives immediately took the children to Gia Lai Provincial Children's Hospital and Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital for emergency care.

    Authorities in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces warn that making homemade firecrackers is not only dangerous to life but also a violation of the law. Therefore, people, especially students, should not research or buy materials online to make their own firecrackers.
