Initial surprise inspection results show that An Dong General Clinic Company Limited organizes activities of specialized clinics including Surgery clinics, dermatology clinics, imaging diagnostic clinics and laboratories. However, on medical records, the clinic logo and website all show that An Dong General Clinic is not suitable for the type licensed by the Department of Health.
The person in charge of the Dermatology Clinic, the Imaging Diagnosis Clinic, the Testing and Pharmacy Clinic was not present even though the clinic was operating.
The medical examination and treatment book has not been fully updated, the outpatient medical records have not been fully recorded, and practitioners have not registered to practice medical examination and treatment according to regulations.
At the Image Diagnosis Clinic, the inspection team noted that the computer stored many ultrasound images without patient information and ultrasound nomination forms.
The laboratory has not yet been approved by the Department of Health for the list of microbial tests, and the company has not yet self-declared the biosafety for the laboratory according to regulations. On different test results, there are some urine test indicators with similar indicators.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health requested the ultrasound clinic and laboratory to temporarily suspend operations due to many signs of violations in medical examination and treatment activities, not ensuring health care for patients when coming to perform services at the clinic.
The Department of Health Inspectorate continues to clarify the violations of An Dong General Clinic Company Limited at the specialized clinics of this unit and resolutely handle them at the most severe level according to the law. The Department of Health will continue to publicize the results of the inspection of this clinic.
