On March 7, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that the unit had established a re-examination team to verify the contents related to the advertising content of "high-tech blood filtration techniques to remove blood fat to reduce the risk of stroke", "high-tech blood clotting to prevent dangerous diseases to ensure healthy health" of DNA International General Hospital.
At the time of inspection (March 5), when accessing the website and Facebook page of this hospital, the Department of Health Inspectorate noted that these pages all announced that they were under maintenance. When the inspection team asked about the information reflected by a number of agencies and press agencies (according to the Official Dispatch of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management), the representative of the hospital's board of directors replied that it was old advertising information that had previously been punished by the Department Inspectorate, now no longer advertising.
However, at the meeting on March 6, the leaders of this hospital admitted to violating the advertising and promised to immediately stop advertising that was not in accordance with regulations.
At this meeting, the Department of Health requested the hospital's board of directors to self-review and re-examine medical records with a diagnosis of acute dysentery and prescribe blood filtration.
In the coming time, the Department of Health will organize a scientific workshop on blood filtration and huyet tuong filtration instructions with the participation of experts in endocrine, nutrition, resuscitation and will organize a team to inspect compliance with the treatment regimens of hospitals with a list of blood filtration techniques.
DNA International General Hospital is licensed by the Ministry of Health to operate medical examination and treatment and has approved a list of specialized techniques, including the technique of "replacement of huyet tuong in the treatment of acute pancreatitis due to increased triglycerides". The hospital has been granted a Certificate of advertising content on the hospital's websites and Facebook by the Ministry of Health, including the content of "replacing huyet tuong in treating acute pancreatitis due to increased triglycerides".
DNA International General Hospital was sanctioned by the Ministry of Health Inspectorate and the Department of Health Inspectorate for violating advertising related to blood filtration in 2022 and 2023.
