On August 11, the Director of the Da Nang City Department of Health issued a Decision to suspend all medical examination and treatment activities of the Da Nang International General Clinic. This facility is located at 180 Tran Phu, Hai Chau ward, Da Nang city; Medical examination and treatment license No. 01116/DNA-GPHD; the person responsible for technical expertise is Dr. Le Hong Hai.
According to the Decision, the reason for suspending operations is that the clinic does not meet the conditions specified in Clause 2, Article 52 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment dated January 9, 2023. The suspension scope includes all medical examination and treatment activities of the Da Nang International General Clinic approved by the Department of Health.
The suspension period is 4 months from the date of signing the Decision. The condition for continuing operations is that the clinic must be approved in writing by the Da Nang Department of Health to overcome the shortcomings stated in Minutes No. 425/BB-SYT dated July 14, 2025 of the Department of Health. After the suspension period, if the clinic fails to complete the repair of the required contents, the Department of Health will revoke the Medical Examination and Treatment License No. 01116/DNA-GPHD.
The decision takes effect from the date of signing and is sent to relevant departments, the City Police, the Department of Finance, tax authorities, Hai Chau Ward Police, Hai Chau Ward People's Committee and relevant organizations and individuals for coordination.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on July 16, the Investigation Police Agency of Da Nang City Police issued decisions to prosecute the case and prosecute 7 subjects, including personnel and staff managers at Da Nang International General Clinic (located at 180 Tran Phu, Da Nang City) for the act of "Fraudulent to customers".

Initially, the investigation agency determined that Da Nang International General Hospital Joint Stock Company had illegally profited nearly 376 million VND from 17 customers who used the service at the Da Nang International General Clinic.
