In response to the emergency situation, the Hospital handled it quickly and promptly, while activating the hospital-wide red alert procedure, mobilizing maximum human resources, equipment and related specialties to carry out emergency work.
The 41-month-old patient was admitted to the hospital in a state of severe multiple injuries, the patient was in a coma, had difficulty breathing, had a large area of bleeding scratches and bruises on the skin all over the body. The child was diagnosed with multiple injuries - traumatic brain injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, wide cerebral edema, right collarbone fracture, and lung contusion.
The 68-month-old patient was admitted to the hospital in a state of panic agitation, bleeding wounds in the head, many scratches and bruises on the skin all over the body. The child was diagnosed with multiple injuries - traumatic brain injury, collapsed lung.
Immediately upon admission, the hospital's emergency team quickly handled the emergency according to the emergency procedure, and at the same time conducted a quick and comprehensive review of the damage.
Currently, the health of the two children is still being closely monitored and controlled at the Intensive Care Unit, Hanoi Children's Hospital. vital functions are controlled with the help of vasopressors to maintain circulation and ventilators to support breathing.
Previously, at around 8:05 p.m. on July 16, Le Minh Giap was driving a car with license plate: 30K-730.12 on Nguyen Trac Street (towards Do Nghia urban area).
When arriving at CT7K building - Duong Noi urban area, Duong Noi ward; Giap fell asleep and crashed into a motorbike going in the same direction ahead.
After the collision, Giap woke up, panicked, so he accidentally kicked the foot of the accelerator, causing the car to accelerate, moving quickly forward, then continued to crash into 4 motorbikes, 2 cars parked next to the right side of the road in the direction of movement before the car stopped.
The collision caused Mr. D.Q.V (born in 1984, residing in: Duong Noi ward, Hanoi, driving a motorbike) to die on the spot; Ms. L.T.H.G (born in 1995, residing in: Ha Dong ward, Hanoi; driving a motorbike carrying 2 children) to break her leg; Ms. L.T.H.G's 2 children were taken to Hanoi Children's Hospital for emergency care (1 child born in 2019 was scratched, one child born in 2022 suffered a traumatic brain injury).
On July 17, the Investigation Police Agency of the City Police Department temporarily detained Le Minh Giap to investigate the act of "Violating regulations on road traffic participation".
