Painter Le Thiet Cuong was born in 1962, in Hanoi, studied fine arts design at the Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema.
In his painting career, Le Thiet Cuong has organized 26 solo exhibitions at home and abroad since 1991 along with many group exhibitions.
The works of artist Le Thiet Cuong, whether oil paintings or sculptures, are all unfinished and concentrated. After more than 30 years of pursuing a minimalist painting style and leaving many impressions on the art document, Le Thiet Cuong is no longer a strange name in the Vietnamese fine arts world.
He has works in the collections of the Singapore Museum of Art (SAM), the Royal de Mariemont Museum ( Kingdom of Belgium) and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.
Le Thiet Cuong has won 2 Good Design Awards (Japan) in 2003-2004, 2005-2006.
