Applying artificial intelligence technology to cancer screening

Phương Trang |

Nura, the first high-tech health screening center in Southeast Asia, has been revolutionizing the field of preventive medicine. With an advanced health screening model applying artificial intelligence (AI) technology, Nura meets the community's growing demand for proactive health care.

The difference comes from AI and Big Data technology

As a pioneer in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in health screening, Nura not only detects 14 types of cancer and 22 lifestyle diseases early, but also optimizes customer experience.

In terms of accuracy, integrating Fujifilm's AI technology, Nura detects microscopic lesions from 1mm - signs that are difficult to detect with the naked eye. The AI system supports doctors in analyzing data quickly and minimizing errors, providing accurate results according to Japanese standards.

In terms of safety, Nura uses CT scanning technology with a 97% reduction in X-ray dose, ensuring maximum safety for customers during the screening process. This makes health screening a suitable choice for all ages and health conditions.

In terms of convenience, in just 120 minutes, customers can complete a comprehensive screening process, from blood sampling, CT scan, to receiving results and health consultation. The quick, professional process helps save time while still ensuring service quality.

Early screening – Protecting public health

In Vietnam, the number of new cancer cases is about 180,400 each year, of which 73.5% are detected at a late stage, leading to a high mortality rate (according to Globocan 2020). In contrast, in Japan, thanks to the habit of regular health check-ups, the 5-year survival rate when cancer is detected at an early stage is 75-96%.

Nura's unique policies such as 0% interest installment payments within 1 year (less than $1 per day) and cancer insurance help Nura become a critical illness shield that everyone in the community needs, especially after the age of 30.

Nura brings the screening model from Japan to Vietnam with the desire to raise awareness of preventive medicine and contribute to reducing pressure on the end-line health system. Proactive screening not only helps detect diseases early, but also reduces treatment costs and improves people's quality of life.

Nura's achievements after 6 months of operation

After 6 months of operation in Vietnam, Nura has achieved impressive results. The abnormal detection rate is 66% of customers who seem healthy but have signs of potential diseases.

Early detection: 37% lung abnormalities; 26% coronary and heart abnormalities; 19% kidney abnormalities; 11% breast abnormalities.

Welcomed nearly 5,000 customers from all over the country.

These numbers demonstrate the power of proactive health screening and the need for a preventive health model in improving quality of life.
