Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoat - Chairman of Ninh An Commune People's Committee (Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh) said that after a period of propaganda and mobilization, Mr. Vu Ngoc Huong's family (residing in Goi hamlet, Dong Trang village, Ninh An commune, Hoa Lu city, Ninh Binh) agreed to demolish the surrounding wall to reopen a common path for some families in the hamlet.
"We have mobilized machinery and human resources to coordinate with Mr. Huong's family to demolish the surrounding wall. After demolishing the surrounding wall, we will also rebuild the road to serve the travel needs of households" - Mr. Hoat said.
On April 29, 2025, Mr. Bui Thien Thi - Chairman of Hoa Lu City People's Committee signed and issued Decision No. 3617/QD-UBND on the compulsory recovery of the total area of land for compulsory land of 14.5m2, aquaculture land, (address in Goi hamlet, Dong Trang village, Ninh An commune, Hoa Lu city, Ninh Binh) for Mr. Vu Ngoc Huong.
Mr. Vu Ngoc Huong's family was subject to compulsory land recovery measures for not complying with the 2021 decision of the People's Committee of Hoa Lu district (now Hoa Lu city) on land recovery for road construction in Ninh An commune.
The time for compulsory land recovery is from May 16 to May 26. However, Mr. Vu Ngoc Huong's family voluntarily demolished and returned the above land area.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper published a series of articles reflecting that the entrance to Mr. Vu Quoc Dang's family's house (located in Goi hamlet, Dong Trang village, Ninh An commune, Hoa Lu city, Ninh Binh) that has been used for many years (since 1986) was suddenly blocked by a neighbor's wall in 2021, causing many difficulties for his family's life.
Mr. Vu Quoc Dang is a person with meritorious services to the revolution, he was awarded the Resistance Medal, the Glorious Soldier Medal... Now that he is over 90 years old, for the past 5 years, his family has sent petitions for help everywhere, from commune to province but they have not been resolved.
