On September 8, the People's Committee of Hanh Thong Ward and the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health conducted a surprise inspection at Tuyet Chinh Dental Clinic (Hanh Thong Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) after recent scandals. The inspection team discovered signs of many violations and requested the clinic to temporarily suspend operations to resolve the incident.
According to information from the inspection team, the clinic provided the following documents:
The business registration certificate of Tuyet Chinh Dental Company Limited, represented by Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh.
The license to operate a dental and maxillofacial clinic was issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health on April 24, 2019, allowing the operation of a Dental and Maxillofacial clinic, with Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh as the person responsible for the expertise.
The practice certificate for medical examination and treatment was issued by the Department of Health of Dong Nai province on May 7, 2014, to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Chinh with the title of dentist.
Through the inspection, the Inspection Team determined that the clinic showed signs of not ensuring technical operations, approved facilities, and did not ensure that the personnel had a Practice License/Certificate of practice in medical examination and treatment and registered to practice at the Department of Health.
The inspection team requested the clinic to temporarily suspend medical examination and treatment until the incident was resolved. Request the clinic to have a written explanation of the facility's operations; provide the missing documents as requested by the Inspection Team. The facility is only allowed to post advertisements for medical examination and treatment services in accordance with the approved technical list.
Previously, on September 3, Ms. T and a friend went to Tuyet Chinh dental clinic to meet the doctor to discuss the unsatisfactory dental treatment results. While they were discussing, Ms. T took a phone to record the incident when suddenly a person at this facility threatened her with a stick, knocked her down and snatched her phone, then threw it onto the floor. Ms. T's friend was also affected.
The incident caused Ms. T to have scratches on her neck, arms, shoulders, and a headache, and she had to be hospitalized for examination and treatment. Ms. T's phone and glasses were also damaged.
On September 8, Hanh Thong Ward Police, Ho Chi Minh City is preparing a case to investigate and verify the case to clarify that there were signs of intentional injury related to the female customer being assaulted at the above dental clinic.
