On the morning of April 8, at Hoa Binh Kindergarten, Van Lang Commune People's Committee organized a conference to inform about the results of food sample tests related to the abnormal meat incident at Hoa Binh Kindergarten.
At the conference, representatives of Van Lang Commune People's Committee announced the results of 2 test samples for abnormal meat samples on March 25.

Accordingly, sample number 1 test results of 11 indicators revealed 3 indicators with problems (positive E.coli; high microbial index; yellow staphylococcus is lower than 10).
Sampling number 2 tested positive for African swine fever virus.

After hearing the test results information, a large number of parents at Hoa Binh Kindergarten expressed their frustration. At the same time, they requested to continue to verify and clarify the sampling process and the process of bringing food into the school.
Representatives of Van Lang Commune People's Committee explained the questions and concerns of parents.
As Lao Dong newspaper reported, in recent days, many parents with children studying at Hoa Binh Kindergarten (Van Lang commune, Thai Nguyen province) have been upset about abnormal signs of food cooked for students.
The incident originated on March 25, when Hoa Binh Kindergarten took meat cooked for students out to grind because of a power outage.

Some parents discovered that the meat had an unusual color and took the food for testing, and the pork was contaminated with E. coli and African pork cholera. Many days later, parents left their children at home to ensure safety.
On the afternoon of April 6, the inter-sectoral inspection team of Thai Nguyen province conducted a surprise inspection of the business establishment of Mr. Nguyen Van T. (a unit supplying food to Hoa Binh Kindergarten).
This facility has presented some related documents. However, at the time of inspection, this facility had not presented some documents related to the use of water that meets technical standards in processing and business; along with some dossiers and documents related to production and business activities.
