On September 5, in the bustling atmosphere of the opening day of the new school year, nearly 200 anti-myopia desk lamps were awarded to students of Vu Thi Thuc Secondary School (Thai Phuong branch) in Tien La commune, Hung Yen province.
This is a gift from the Golden Heart Fund of Lao Dong Newspaper in coordination with Rang Dong Lamp and Thermos Joint Stock Company (Hanoi) presented to students.
Also at the opening ceremony, organizations and individuals in Tien La commune presented 17 gifts to students in difficult circumstances studying at the school.
This school year, Vu Thi Thuc Secondary School (Thai Phuong branch) has 597 students.
Tran Thi Khanh An (9A1 student) shared: "Being given a gift of a lamp, my study corner is brighter. I am very happy and will try to study better so as not to disappoint everyone's care and sharing.
Table lamps and gifts presented on the occasion of the opening ceremony not only support students in difficult circumstances in their studies but also add motivation for them to strive to rise up and study well in the new school year.
