On the afternoon of January 23, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation organized a fundraising ceremony to support the construction of "Trade Union Shelter" houses for union members in difficult circumstances and presented gifts to children of workers overcoming difficulties and studying well in Thuan Thanh ward (Bac Ninh province). Also present were representatives of the Tam Long Vang Charity Fund.
The union member who was given the shelter is Ms. Nguyen Thi Lieu (born in 1981) - a worker at But Thap Garment and Fashion Joint Stock Company (Thuan Thanh ward). Ms. Lieu is the main breadwinner in a family of 4 people. Her husband is not in good health, so he does not have a stable job; the two children are still young, one of whom is often sick.
Ms. Lieu herself has just been treated for cancer, which is costly. All living expenses in the family depend on her income.
The family's old house has deteriorated for many years, not ensuring safety, especially in the rainy and storm season. Ms. Lieu shared that she has wished to have a new house for many years, but due to difficult economic conditions, that dream had to be postponed many times.
From the sponsorship of Vietnam Industrial Zone Group Joint Stock Company through the Tam Long Vang Charity Fund (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), Ms. Lieu's family was supported with 50 million VND to build a new house. This is a practical encouragement, contributing to Ms. Lieu's house construction costs, helping union members' families soon stabilize their accommodation, feel secure in working, and overcome difficulties.

After a period of construction, the project is in the completion phase, with a total area of more than 60m2, expected to be completed before the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo 2026.
So, my family will celebrate Tet in a new house. I am really happy. Having a new house helps me feel more secure in my work, taking better care of myself and my family," Ms. Lieu shared.
On the same day, the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation presented 25 gifts to children of workers in difficult circumstances in Thuan Thanh ward, each worth 1 million VND, donated by Vietnam Industrial Park Group Joint Stock Company through the Tam Long Vang Charity Fund.

Mr. Thach Van Chung - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province, Chairman of the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that these are activities of profound humanistic significance, clearly showing the accompanying role of the trade union organization in caring for the lives of union members and workers.
Although the material value of the gifts is not large, they are the feelings and responsibilities of trade unions at all levels and sponsors, helping to encourage the spirit, helping union members and their children stabilize their lives, continue to strive to work, study, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Vietnam Industrial Zone Group Joint Stock Company, through the Tam Long Vang Charity Social Fund (Vietnam General Confederation of Labor), donated 400 million VND to support 5 localities, including: Bac Ninh, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh (75 million VND/locality); Hai Phong: 125 million VND; Long An (50 million VND to donate 25 scholarships).
