Taking place in two days, September 3 and 4, 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, the conference marks the first time Vietnam has hosted a regional-level tennis management team conference program. The event gathered nearly 100 senior management officials from many ATF member national Tennis Federations/Associations across Asia.
Attending the program were Ms. Manpreet Kandhari - Executive Director of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky - President of the Vietnam Tennis Federation, Mr. Mai Hoai Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam Tennis Federation, along with representatives of leaders and management officials of member national Tennis Federations/Associations.
The workshop was organized to create space for managers to share knowledge, practical experiences, update information about regional tennis, and at the same time exchange and develop highly applicable plans in the coming time.
ATF's choice of Vietnam as the venue for the 2026 event is considered an opportunity for VTF to introduce Vietnam's image, organizational capacity and tennis development environment to partners in the region.

The 2026 conference focuses on three key contents, associated with key issues in the development of tennis in Asia, including: Strengthening WT/ATF Development Projects, improving the effectiveness, scope of approach and impact of development programs; improving the standards for organizing and implementing tournaments, focusing on operation, organization of tournaments, improving professional quality and effectively exploiting ATF initiatives; building a roadmap for continuous athlete development, to develop skills, accumulate competition experience and gradually move towards high achievements...
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of VTF shared: "We expect that from the connections created at this conference, Vietnam will have more opportunities to host international tournaments in the coming time, especially towards 2027. This is not only an opportunity for Vietnam to organize events, but more importantly, to create more playgrounds, international competition and exchange opportunities for Vietnamese athletes.
One of the important goals that VTF aims for through the conference is to expand its international cooperation network and enhance the opportunity to host international tennis tournaments in Vietnam in 2027.
