The Daily Mail reported that Walcott - a small coastal village in northern Norfolk, UK, was hit by a sandstorm with winds of up to 112 km/h. As a result, all the houses, cars and roads inside the village were covered with a thick layer of sand.
This phenomenon occurs in response to the hot, dry atmosphere and sunburned areas encountering windy and moist air in the coastal areas of Walcott, Norfolk.
Strong winds blowing inland have brought sand grains from the beach, which was added to 1.8 million cubic meters of sand last year to prevent coastal erosion.
When they woke up on September 26, Walcott residents were amazed by the sand dunes that suddenly appeared everywhere.

Jay Durrant, a villager, said he was 'unbelievable' when he saw the scene outside the windows, and said it took him a week to process all the sand everywhere.
Another villager, Caroline Stubbs, said, never seen this happen before during her 16 years as the owner of the Poachers Pocket in Walcott village. She had to spend the whole morning cleaning up the sand at the entrance to the shop so that customers could enter and exit.
Walcott Parish Council President Pauline reporter said that sand is still more than water and flood.
According to the latest storm news, the weather forecasting agency's office issued a warning for heavy rain in England and Wales on September 30. Winds of up to 96 km/h are expected along with the named Aiden storm, depending on its severity, which is likely to make landfall on October 2.
