Chairman of the Russian State Duma to officially visit Vietnam

The Chairman of the Russian State Duma will co-chair the 4th Session of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the Russian State Duma.

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the invitation of President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin led the Russian high-ranking delegation to officially visit Vietnam and co-chaired the 4th Session of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee between the National Assembly of Vietnam and the National Duma of Russia from September 28-29, 2025.

Mr. Vyacheslav was born on February 4, 1964, has a PhD in engineering science and a PhD in law.

From October 2016 to present: Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Standing Member of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
