The EU and famous hip-hop artist Suboi launched a campaign for Vietnam's clean energy future in the new song "The Power".

The European Union (EU) and Suboi have cooperated to launch the Ive Got the Power campaign in Vietnam to honor the close cooperation between the EU and Vietnam for a greener, more sustainable future for everyone.

The campaign focuses on highlighting common commitments to sustainable energy and the transformative impact of EU-supported initiatives in Vietnam, aiming to provide renewable energy solutions to local people and communities.

The campaign is being implemented under the Global Gateway initiative - an EU strategy to narrow the gap between demand and real investment globally and promote smart, clean and safe connections in the fields of digital, energy and transportation, while strengthening the healthcare, education and research system.

Speaking about the campaign, EU Ambassador to Vietnam Julien Guerrier said: The transition to renewable energy is not only to reduce carbon emissions but also to create a more sustainable future for the people, the planet and the Vietnamese economy. Through this campaign, we hope that people will not only understand the importance of sustainable energy but also realize how this transition can have a positive impact on our lives and the future.

Subois The Power produced by Nodey is the theme song of the campaign and highlights the potential of clean energy in improving peoples lives and inspiring them to promote this positive change.

Suboi shared: "Sustainable energy is not only about technology but also about people. I am proud to cooperate with the EU and be a part of this creative campaign, connecting sustainability, music and empowerment towards a better future for Vietnam.

The EU's " Global gateway" initiative mobilizes up to 300 billion Euros from public and private investment in the 2021-2027 period, aiming to connect economies rather than create dependence.

In Vietnam, the EU supports many renewable energy projects, such as Tra Vinh wind power farm, Bac Ai rechargeable hydropower project (Ninh Thuan) and upgrading Tri An hydropower plant (Dong Nai).

Since 1990, the EU and Vietnam have cooperated comprehensively in trade, sustainable development and peace. Currently, renewable energy is becoming a new pillar in bilateral relations, contributing to green transformation and sustainable economic development.
