According to a Reuters-Ipsos poll conducted from November 14-17, the support for US President Donald Trump has fallen to 38%, the lowest level since he took office on January 20, 2025.
The poll showed 38% of respondents approved Trump's work, while 60% disagreed, the rest did not respond. This is the first time Trump's support has fallen below 40% in his second term, while the highest it has reached 47% in January.
A survey of 1,017 adults shows that unsatisfactory responses are to rising prices and how to handle the investigation of the cyber industry billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. Only 20% believe that the authorities are conducting the investigation properly, while 70% believe that the authorities are hiding information about Epstein's customers.
Earlier this week, Democrats published a portion of Epstein's emails with some of their acquaintances and colleagues, implying that Trump may have known about the financial officer's crimes through previous relationships between the two.
The Democratic move was later condemned by the White House, calling it an attempt to defame the image of the US President.
The Epstein billionaire was arrested by New York state law enforcement in July 2019 on charges of sex trafficking in minors. He committed suicide in prison just a month later.
The prosecutor's office said evidence in 2002 2005 showed the billionaire Epstein held private homes in Manhattan with dozens of teenage girls, the youngest of 14 years.
The Epstein's friends and acquaintances include many current and retired officials, not only in the US but also from many other countries, including heads of state, big businessmen and entertainment stars.
