According to Reuters, the Israeli army surrounded a series of hospitals and shelters in northern Gaza on October 21 to prevent aid shipments from reaching civilians.
Most of the men were arrested and the women were ordered by the Israeli army to immediately leave Jabalia - one of Gaza's largest refugee camps, local health officials said.
There were also several Israeli airstrikes targeting buildings on October 21 in Jabalia, killing at least five people and injuring many others.
The United Nations has accused Israel of deliberately blocking humanitarian aid to northern Gaza to provide essential supplies to civilians, including food, water and medicine.
“Those who fled were executed, their bodies were left strewn on the streets,” Philippe Lazzarini, head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), said on social media X.
Israeli troops stormed a school and set it on fire after arresting all the men in the area, according to medical staff at the Indonesian Hospital in the Gaza Strip. The fire spread to the hospital's generator and caused a power outage.
A series of hospitals in northern Gaza - where the Israeli army has intensified military operations - have fallen into a state of shortage of medical supplies due to lack of aid, causing many patients in serious condition to die.
According to the United Nations, aid shipments to Gaza have been at record lows in recent months, especially in August, despite repeated calls by humanitarian organizations for Israel to ease restrictions.

With Gaza's aid being cut off repeatedly due to Israeli military restrictions, the US is likely to violate section 620i of the Foreign Assistance Act - which prohibits military aid to countries that obstruct US aid activities.
A letter urging Israel to improve the humanitarian situation was sent by senior US officials last week. The letter warned that Israel would face sanctions including arms aid if the humanitarian situation in Gaza did not improve within 30 days.
