Dnipro has suffered at least 3 separate attacks at night and during the day. Regional governor Oleksandr Hanzha said that 8 people were killed and 49 injured in the city of Dnipro.
In the first attack at night, a large part of an apartment building collapsed after being hit by a bomb. Four bodies were found, Mr. Hanzha said.
The site continued to be attacked during the day as rescue forces were working. The second attack killed 1 person and injured 7 others.
8 more people were injured in another attack on the evening of April 25. All injured are being treated at the hospital.
In more than 20 hours of horror, Russia attacked Dnipro in waves. They attacked with missiles and drones. They attacked intentionally. They targeted residential areas" - Mr. Hanzha wrote on Telegram.
Governor Hanzha reported another attack just before midnight, causing a fire at a construction site.
The Ukrainian Air Force said that Russian forces deployed 619 drones and 47 missiles overnight, and also said that the Ukrainian side shot down 580 drones and 30 missiles.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Russia attacked military industrial and energy targets at night.
In the Chernihiv region in northern Ukraine, missile and drone attacks killed 2 people and injured 7 others.
Debris from the drone damaged a power pole and part of an auxiliary structure in Romania, a NATO member bordering Ukraine.
Ukraine has also intensified drone attacks on Russian territory as well as areas controlled by Russia. Officials in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg said that a Ukrainian drone attacked an apartment building, causing minor injuries.
The governor appointed by Russia in the Luhansk region of Ukraine informed that a drone attack by Ukrainians killed 3 residents of a village. And the governor of the port of Sevastopol in Crimea, controlled by Russia, said that air defense units shot down 43 Ukrainian drones over the city and the Black Sea.
