On January 11, gunmen of the 114th Independent Mobile Guard Brigade of the 51st Guard Corps, belonging to the Central Forces Group, destroyed a MaxxPro armored personnel carrier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Pokrovsk.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, during reconnaissance, unmanned combat units of the force discovered Ukrainian soldiers trying to maneuver with MaxxPro armored vehicles, likely to transport ammunition.
Using the 130mm M-46 howitzer cannon, the Russian gunners quickly determined coordinates and destroyed the target.
The order is given, the target is designated, I aim and fire according to the order. If it is necessary to switch to a new target, it is not more than 1 minute. For on-duty targets, the firing time is only about 10-15 seconds" - the gunner with the code name Chvyrch said.

MaxxPro is a US-made anti-mine armored vehicle, belonging to the MRAP line, received by Ukraine from the West to transport infantry, protect soldiers from mines, self-made explosive devices (IED) and light firepower.
Previously, on January 10, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the operating crews of the air unmanned aerial vehicle system of the Ivanovo Guard unit had launched accurate strikes targeting Ukrainian targets on the right bank of the Dnieper River, in Kherson province.
According to the Russian side, the operation of unmanned units has disrupted Ukraine's force rotation plan on the front line, and at the same time significantly reduced the enemy's combat capability.
