According to TASS, the Russian Ministry of Defense said on July 26 that the country's army had launched attacks targeting many military and defense industrial targets of Ukraine, including a technology enterprise in the capital Kiev.
The Russian side informed that the target of the attack was a factory producing many types of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and components for UAV manufacturing such as airframes, electronic components for medium and long-range UAVs, guidance equipment, optical systems and batteries.
Russia also announced that it had attacked a UAV assembly and storage facility in southwestern Kiev.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, this facility has a production capacity of up to 1,000 UAVs of all kinds per month, with the participation of experts from a joint venture between Ukraine and the US.
UAV models produced here include AQ-400 Scythe, AQ-100 Bayonet (combat UAV) and RQ-100 Scout (reconnaissance UAV).
Also on July 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had conducted a coordinated attack with precision weapons launched from the ground and in the air overnight, targeting defense industrial facilities in Kiev and the port of Chornomorsk, Odessa province, Ukraine.
