TASS reported on July 19 that, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attack was carried out by a Geran-4 Seeker unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) targeting a locomotive transporting military equipment and logistics supplies of the Ukrainian army in the area near Volnyansk, Zaporizhzhia province of Ukraine.
The Russian side also released a video believed to record the developments of the attack targeting railway infrastructure located behind Ukraine's defense lines.
On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that air defense units intercepted and destroyed 140 fixed-wing UAVs of Ukraine between 8:00 PM on July 18 and 8:00 AM on July 19 (Moscow time).
According to the announcement, the UAVs were shot down in many areas, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Rostov provinces, Moscow province, Krasnodar region, Crimean peninsula region and airspace above the Azov Sea and Black Sea.
Russia has not announced further information about damage and casualties related to the attacks.
Currently, the Ukrainian side has not commented on Russia's statements.
