The Russian Government, Parliament, the Central Bank of Russia and regional authorities need to closely coordinate with each other, because this is the only way to complete national development tasks, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said before the Russian State Duma, outlining 6 major priorities of Russia in 2026.
Only by acting together can we complete national development tasks. I believe that, with joint efforts and solidarity, we will achieve all set goals" - Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized when speaking before government members, parliamentarians, representatives of the Central Bank of Russia and local leaders.
According to Mr. Mishustin, the first and most important task is to protect and increase the population. The Russian government will improve family welfare by upgrading existing support policies, while implementing new measures and expanding effective models from regions.
The second task is to build a foundation for Russia's economic growth to reach a level not lower than the global average, thereby strengthening the long-term development of regions as well as the entire Russian economy. The government aims to create more high-income jobs and expand the production of competitive products manufactured by Russia.
The third priority is to restructure foreign trade activities, shifting focus to exporting high-tech products. According to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, this can be achieved by strengthening supply capacity and implementing investment projects to meet market demand.
Another goal of Russia is to build a transparent and competitive business environment to create new opportunities and practical benefits for honest businesses.
The 5th task is to continue to improve labor productivity, mainly through the application of advanced technologies and digital solutions" - Mr. Mikhail Mishustin said.
The 6th and final goal is to continuously modernize technology, creating conditions for innovation and promoting the widespread application of new achievements.
Currently, this is the main driving force to help improve the quality of life and promote national development" - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin concluded.
