Former President Donald Trump and all his children, relatives and friends went to a church in Manhattan to attend the funeral of his ex-wife, Ivana Trump.
"A very sad day, but it is also a day to remember a wonderful and beautiful life," Trump wrote on the social network Truth Social before he, First Lady Melania Trump and son Barron attended St. Vincent Ferrer's funeral. The church is just a few blocks away from Ms. Ivana Trump's house near Central Park.
The three children of Mrs. Ivana and Mr. Donald Trump - Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric - were all with their father and family when the coffin left the church.
Tiffany Trump, daughter of former Trump and his second wife, Marla Maples, also attended the funeral with many of Trump's family friends, including Charles Kushner, a real estate developer and father of Ivanka Trump. Fashion designer Dennis Basso, a longtime friend of Ivana Trump, was also present among the funeral goers.
The Trump family announced on July 14 that the 73-year-old businesswoman had passed away at her home. Authorities confirmed that Mr. Trump's ex-wife died in an accident, with injuries from a strong smash on her body.
Ivana and Donald Trump met in the 1970s and were married from 1977 to 1992. In the 1980s, they were a powerful couple. Ivana Trump always stands out with her long, long gray hair and charming appearance.
Ivana Trump is also involved in her husband's business, managing one of thecasinoes in Atlantic City, and participating in the design of a part of Trump Tower in New York City.
At the time of the divorce, Mr. Donald Trump and Ms. Ivana's relationship was not very good, but in recent years it has changed positively, AP said.
