Belarus shows excellent skills in using nuclear weapons, Russian President Vladimir Putin said while watching joint exercises with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko via online video.
I especially want to emphasize the smooth coordination of Belarusian colleagues, friends and allies when using bombers with special warhead capability and medium-range weapons - such as the Iskander missile just used - skillfully and well-coordinated" - President Vladimir Putin noted.
The Russian leader emphasized that smooth coordination is extremely important when using these weapons, "because every minute and every second is meaningful".
President Vladimir Putin thanked the Belarusian side for participating in the nuclear exercise.
Thank you very much for your participation, as well as for the skills and willingness to cooperate that your soldiers have shown" - Mr. Putin said, referring to Mr. Lukashenko.
The Russian President also asked Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov to convey his thanks to the Belarusian soldiers.
