Mr. Trump predicted Russia's attack on Ukraine

Ukraine has created an excuse for Russia to retaliate fiercely with large-scale attacks, according to US President Donald Trump.

US President Donald Trump believes that Ukraine's recent attacks on Russian air bases have been the reason for Russia's large-scale airstrikes on Ukraine. He stressed that Kiev's actions " gave Putin a reason to launch heavy bombings," RT reported.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Trump said he dislike this escalation when asked whether Ukraines attack on the core component of Russias nuclear triad would change his views on the severity of the conflict. In his speech, he said he had somewhat anticipated an attack on Ukraine.

They gave Mr. Putin a reason to approach and fire heavy bombs at them last night. I don't like that. When I heard the news, I thought, 'It's starting again... there will be an airstrike,' Trump said.

According to the Pentagon, after a series of unmanned aerial attacks by Ukrainian drones targeting many air bases, along with railway sabotage that killed at least 7 people and injured more than 120, Russian forces carried out large-scale retaliatory strikes with missiles launched from the air, sea and land, as well as UAVs.

The targets of the attack included a design department, a weapons manufacturing and repair plant, an attack UAV assembly facility, a flight training center, and warehouses for Ukrainian weapons and military equipment.

In a previous phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Mr. Trump, Mr. Putin warned that Moscow's reaction was inevitable and completely legitimate. Mr. Putin also called the railway sabotage "uancing terrorist act" carried out by the "Kiev government" and accused Kiev of gradually becoming "a terrorist organization".

Russia has accused Ukraine of deliberately escalating to sabotage US-backed peace efforts. Moscow also said that Mr. Trump is receiving "specialized" information from those who have the motives to urge Washington to continue supporting Kiev in the current conflict.
