US F-16 fighters intercepted many aircraft violating the temporary flight restriction order in the area near the golf course where President Donald Trump was on a weekend vacation.

On August 9 (Washington time), according to TASS news agency, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said that its F-16 fighters intercepted many aircraft believed to have violated temporary flight restrictions in Bedminster, New Jersey, where US President Donald Trump is spending his weekend at his golf course.

NORAD announced on social network X that F-16 fighters intercepted "many civil aviation aircraft" violating the flight restriction regulations temporarily applied in Bedminster.

According to this agency, all intercepted aircraft were safely escorted out of the area by NORAD aircraft.

The Bedminster area is where President Trump owns a golf course and often comes on weekends. Mr. Trump arrived in Bedminster on August 7 and is scheduled to return to Washington D.C. at the end of August 9.

Temporary flight restrictions are applied in some areas when the US President is present to strengthen air traffic control and ensure security. Aircraft not allowed to operate in restricted areas may be monitored, verified and intercepted by functional forces.

NORAD's deployment of F-16 fighters to escort violating aircraft shows that airspace control regulations are strictly enforced during President Trump's presence in Bedminster.

NORAD is the joint airspace defense agency of the US and Canada, responsible for monitoring and protecting North American airspace. This agency often coordinates with military and civilian forces to monitor aircraft operations in areas with special security requirements.

In the announcement, NORAD emphasized that all intercepted aircraft were safely removed from the area. There is no information indicating that the incident caused casualties or led to dangerous situations for people on board.

The incident occurred while President Trump was at a golf course in Bedminster, which he frequented on weekends, and showed that air security control was increased around this location when the US President was present.
