Tour’s Acosta bus operator informed, a passenger car carrying 48 people collided with a tractor when traveling from Cancun to Tabasco.

Tour’s Acosta immediately apologized for the incident, and said that it was coordinating with the authorities to investigate the cause. The company also noted that the bus moved within the allowed speed limit.

In the post on Facebook after the incident, Tour's Acosta said that the relatives of the passengers in distress needed the prosecutor's office in the Candelaria, Campeche area to carry out the necessary procedures. .

According to the Tabasco state government, the rescue work continues to be implemented, including identifying the victims.

The Governor of Tabasco - Mr. Javier May - expressed deeply mourning about the incident, and declared coordinating with the federal government to clarify the cause.

According to the announcement of the Secretary of Tabasco, Mr. Ramiro Lopez, officials will update information about the number and identity of the victims at the end of 8.2 (local time).
