Austrian police said on June 10 that eight people had died in a shooting incident at a high school in the Austrian city of Graz. The victims included children aged 14 to 18.
The Austrian Ministry of Home Affairs and police said the perpetrator of the school shooting was also dead.
The shooting occurred at Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium Dreierschutzengasse in the northwest of the city at around 10am on June 10, local time.
Police responded immediately after reporting some explosions suspected to be gunshots at the scene.
Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium Dreierschutzengasse has been evacuated and the area has been protected. The police confirmed that there are currently no other dangers.
