Modric prosecuted for tax evasion of 870,000 euros
The Madrid City Prosecutor's Office has officially filed a lawsuit against Modric on two counts of tax evasion. Modric was accused of hiding €870,728 in image copyright in luxury black funds in Luxembourg in 2013 and 2014. Modric is even believed to have hidden a bank account in England and could be given a new sentence if convicted.
