    As of 8:00 a.m. on December 20, the Vietnam Sports Delegation still holds the third place on the SEA Games medal rankings. The Vietnamese athletes won a total of 86 gold medals, 79 silver medals and 110 bronze medals.

    The top spot in the group continues to belong to the Thai Sports Delegation. With 232 gold medals and a large number of silver and bronze medals, the home team is creating a significant gap compared to the groups chasing behind.

    Right behind Thailand is Indonesia. The sports delegation of the archipelago has 91 gold medals, 111 silver medals and 129 bronze medals, thereby maintaining second place on the total rankings.

    The remaining positions in the top belong to the Malaysian delegations Singapore and the Philippines. Followed by Myanmar, Laos, Brunei and Timor Leste.
