The competition day on December 19 is the final competition day of table tennis. Tennis player Nguyen Anh Tu met Izaac Quek (Singapore) in the men's singles semi-final.
Coming in the highest spirit, however, Nguyen Anh Tu could not have an advantage over Izaac Quek so he accepted defeat with a score of 1-4.
After the semi-final, Anh Tu expressed his efforts to compete with the highest concentration. Unfortunately, our player could not win. Anh Tu received the bronze medal at the 33rd SEA Games. Of the 4 tennis players participating in the men's and women's singles events at the 33rd SEA Games, Nguyen Anh Tu was the one with the best results.
