The championship race in phase 2 of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship - men's event is taking place extremely dramatically.
On the match day of November 23, all three top teams took the field and won all 3 points. Border Guard defeated Lavie Long An with a score of 3-1 to solidify their position at the top of the table. They showed the formidable stability of a championship candidate.
Close behind is The Cong Tan Cang with 16 points. They just won 3-0 against Da Nang. This defeat makes it difficult for the Han River team to compete for the top 4.
Sanest Khanh Hoa also got 3 points against the bottom team XSKT Vinh Long (won 3-1). With only 1 point after 6 matches, Vinh Long will almost certainly have to compete for relegation this season. They have only won 4 sets since the beginning of the tournament.
Phase 2 of the national volleyball championship takes place in Ba Ria Vung Tau from November 21 to December 1. The semi-finals and relegation matches begin on November 28.
