Border Guard leads the men's event, closely followed by Ho Chi Minh City Police. Although they have just been promoted, Ho Chi Minh City Police have had a very impressive performance, they defeated The Cong Tan Cang to maintain second place in the group.
Da Nang had 2 important victories to finish 3rd. They are one of the teams that had to compete for relegation last season, so this achievement is quite surprising.
In the women's event, VTV Binh Dien Long An and LPB Ninh Binh have the same score and set win/ loss ratio. The match between the two teams on the evening of March 28 will decide the top spot in the group.
The Information and Chemical Corps of Duc Giang is the two remaining representatives in the top 4. Despite receiving high expectations, the two teams played very erratically.
At the bottom of the table, Ho Chi Minh City and XMLS Thanh Hoa are gradually being left behind as they have not had any winning sets in this year's tournament.
The national volleyball championship took place from March 22 to March 31 at the Dong Anh District Gymnasium (Hanoi) with the participation of 8 men's teams and 8 women's teams.
The teams competed in a round-robin format. The top 4 teams will participate in the semi-finals, the bottom 4 teams will compete for relegation tickets.
