On September 8th, Becamex HCMC held a send-off ceremony to participate in the National First Division League 2026-2027. The team identifies the most important goal as building a team capable of competing and striving to regain the right to return to the V.League.
Speaking at the ceremony, Becamex TPHCM Club Chairman Ho Hong Thach said: "The goal of the team this season is to build a strong team, play dedicatedly, effectively and strive to regain the right to return to the V.League playground. That will be a difficult journey, but I believe that with solidarity, bravery and determination, we can completely turn that goal into reality.
To aim for this goal, Becamex HCMC focuses on consolidating the force, perfecting expertise and increasing cohesion between the lines in the season preparation phase. The coaching staff focuses on requirements for fitness, tactics and adaptability to the competitiveness of the National First Division.
Head coach Gerard Albadalejo assessed the National First Division League as a highly competitive tournament and affirmed the team's determination.
We understand that the First Division is a very competitive league. We will try to play attractive football, showing dedication. The whole team is wearing the same jersey and will share a responsibility, a desire to bring Becamex TPHCM back to the position that the club once deserved to have," Mr. Gerard Albadalejo shared.
Besides professional goals, the club aims to build a professional team image, play beautifully and create cohesion with fans.
In the process of preparing for the new season, Becamex HCMC also met and exchanged with the Supporters Association to increase companionship on the journey ahead. The club expects support from fans, partners, sponsors and the football community to add motivation to the whole team.
The goal of returning to V.League is set in the context that Becamex HCMC determines to maintain organizational stability, improve professionalism and improve professional quality.
With the current preparation, the team aims for a fair competitive season in the National First Division 2026-2027, gradually realizing the aspiration to return to the highest level of Vietnamese football.
