Women's volleyball team training in Da Lat
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will leave the Philippines late at night on June 15.
It is expected that head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and 14 players will fly back to Ho Chi Minh City. After that, the members will continue to Da Lat (Lam Dong) for training.
The training program in Da Lat (Lam Dong) after AVC Cup 2026 helps strengthen the athletes' fitness.
Previously, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team trained at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports and then went to the Philippines. The coaching staff determined that the time for physical training in Da Lat (Lam Dong) would help the players have the best spirit.
According to research, the physical training session in Da Lat (Lam Dong) will last half a month.
After that, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and the players returned to Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports in early July.
It is expected that at the training camp after AVC Cup 2026, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet will propose to the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to add more players.
After many years, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team returned to Da Lat (Lam Dong) for physical training.
In the past 3 years, in each training session, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese Women's Volleyball Team often chooses Tam Dao (Phu Tho) as a physical training location for players.

Setter Dinh Van Tu just held an engagement ceremony with his girlfriend Thanh Thuat in his hometown of Cai Be (Dong Thap).

This year, Dinh Van Tu has moved to play for the Dong Nai men's team at the 2026 National Volleyball League A.

Vo Thi Kim Thoa follows in the footsteps of teammate Doan Thi Lam Oanh
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has completed its journey to compete in the AVC Cup 2026 and won 3rd place on June 14th in the Philippines. At the end of the tournament, Vo Thi Kim Thoa, representative of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, received the title of Best Volleyball Athlete.
In the history of AVC Cup tournaments (formerly AVC Challenge Cup) that have taken place, we have only had 2 players receive the title of Best setter.
The first person is Doan Thi Lam Oanh (2023) and now it is Vo Thi Kim Thoa.
This year, Lam Oanh will not be able to participate in the 2026 AVC Cup.
With her highest form, Vo Thi Kim Thoa has followed in her teammates' footsteps to achieve the individual title in setter expertise. This is the first time in her career that Vo Thi Kim Thoa has won an individual title at the Asian level at an official tournament.
