However, this is a friendly match, and at the same time an opportunity for Vietnamese players to regain their competitive feel before participating in the World Championship, added assistant coach Ngoc Hoa.

The Vietnam women's volleyball team will play a friendly match with the Kenyan team on the evening of August 19. It is expected that on August 20, the whole team will leave for Thailand to participate in the 2025 World Championship.
