Vietnamese women's volleyball team meets Philippines to open SEA V.Cup 2026
The first leg of the women's category of the SEA V.Cup 2026 will be held at Dong Anh Sports Center (Hanoi) from July 31 to August 2.
According to the program, 4 participating teams including Vietnam (host), Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines will compete in a round-robin format to calculate points and find the best representative to receive the championship cup.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team will play all 3 matches in Dong Anh (Hanoi) at 6:30 PM during the SEA V.Cup 2026 tournament days.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team will play their first match against the Philippines on July 31.
After that, the Vietnamese hikers will meet the Indonesian team on August 1.
On August 2nd, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will play against Thailand.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his students are training at Bac Ninh University of Physical Education and Sports.
At this time, the coaching staff is focusing on preparing professionally and only deciding the list for the first leg of the SEA V.Cup 2026 Tournament at the time of competition approaching.
Ho Chi Minh City youth women's team competes in the Philippines
Vietnamese volleyball currently has 1 international representative, the Ho Chi Minh City youth women's team.
This team is currently in the Philippines to participate in the invitation tournament here. The official competition program takes place from July 19 to July 23.
The young women's team of Ho Chi Minh City will successively meet opponents who are the College of St. Benilde, Colegio De San Juan de Letran, Southern Storm Melbourne, Enderun Colleges, University of Santo Tomas.
Among them, the Ho Chi Minh City youth women's team and the Southern Storm Melbourne team (Australia) are 2 guests. The remaining 4 teams are teams from universities and colleges in the Philippines.
According to the plan, the competition program of the friendly tournament will be held in Manila city (Philippines) and this is an opportunity for young female players from Ho Chi Minh City to rub shoulders and improve their expertise.
