Kazakhstan's No. 1 striker arrives in Vietnam
At the AVC Nations Cup 2025, the Kazakhstan women's volleyball team is in Group B with the Philippines, Indonesia, Iran, New Zealand and Mongolia. One of the notable faces in the Kazakhstan squad is Sana Anarkulova.
Previously, many sources said that the number 1 striker of the Kazakhstan team was no longer in the national women's team. However, she returned and practiced with her teammates. Therefore, Sana will likely come to Vietnam to participate in the AVC Nations Cup 2025.

With a height of nearly 1m90, abundant physical strength, jumping power and impressive attacking ability, the 3-year-old hitter promises to still be a formidable scorer. Kazakhstan is also considered the biggest opponent of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team as they are the current runners-up of the tournament.
Opportunities for the men's team in the Asian tournament
According to the draw for the AVC Nations Cup 2025 for men, the Vietnam men's volleyball team is in Group D with South Korea and New Zealand. Experts and fans believe that coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team are completely capable of reaching the quarter-finals.
Because Korea is the team with the highest rating in the group (ranked 27th in the world) and will almost certainly take a place in the next round. The remaining step will be a competition between Vietnam and New Zealand.
New Zealand is not a highly rated opponent as in recent years the country has hardly participated in continental tournaments and has lost its position. This team has athletes with good height and physique.
However, in terms of qualifications and experience in international competitions, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team is completely confident to compete fairly with this opponent to win a ticket to the quarter-finals of the AVC Nations Cup.
The men's tournament will take place from June 17 to June 24 in Bahrain.
