Women's team cautious at AVC Nations Cup 2025
Today, the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) conducted a draw for the group stage of the AVC Nations Cup 2025 (formerly known as the AVC Challenge Cup).
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team entered Group A with opponents Australia, Taiwan (China), Hong Kong (China) and India. Group B includes the women's volleyball teams of Kazakhstan, Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Mongolia and New Zealand.
According to coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, the goal of the Vietnam women's volleyball team when competing in a tournament held at home is for players to try their best. The whole team aims to defend the No. 1 position they are holding. However, each match is decisive and the teams are well prepared, so according to Mr. Kiet, Vietnamese players should not lose focus.

The goal of defending the championship at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 is considered not too much pressure for the Vietnam women's volleyball team. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet also affirmed that the team is a collective. Therefore, players who show their best form are capable of completing the set goals.
Vietnamese foreign players may participate in the 33rd SEA Games
Wipawee Srithong is a player who competed in Vietnam in the first phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship for the LPB Ninh Binh women's team. The confident competitive spirit and professionalism are highly appreciated, making the Thai striker receive a lot of attention from fans.

The women's team has a chance to achieve new results
The Vietnam women's volleyball team is entering the final preparation stage to compete in the AVC Nations Cup 2025. The tournament will take place from June 7 to June 14 in Dong Anh, Hanoi.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team are the current champions of the tournament. If they maintain this achievement in this year's tournament, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will likely be promoted to the rankings of the World Volleyball Federation.
Currently, Vietnamese women's volleyball is ranked 32 in the world. According to calculations, Vietnamese girls may surpass Kazakhstan (31) to occupy the position of this opponent. Even, Vietnamese women's volleyball teams can be in the top 30 in the world because currently Vietnam is only 0.67 points behind Vietnam's 30th team, Romania.
