Master Nguyet Anh received compliments
On her personal page, main striker Pham Thi Nguyet Anh posted a series of photos of her and her younger sister taken during Tet. Instead of the traditional ao dai, the striker from Quang Binh chose to wear jeans and a down jacket, highlighting her dynamic yet feminine look.
The photos in the series also have a nostalgic style. Most likely, Nguyet Anh took the photos with a digital camera, which is popular among young people today.
In the comments, many people praised the beauty and style of the female player. She was also commented to have a photo series with a cinematic quality with the way she posed and the colors it brought.
Today (February 3), Nguyet Anh joined the Information Corps team to prepare for the new season.
Bich Thuy received special compliments
Midfielder Tran Thi Bich Thuy is in stable form after playing for GS Caltex in the Korean national volleyball championship on a 3-month loan contract.
With each match, the Vietnamese hitter has improved. With an average of 5.7 points per match, Bich Thuy has contributed significantly to helping GS Caltex transform in the second half of the 2024-2025 season.
"Bich Thuy has good height and jumping power. After playing here for a while, she has gradually found a common voice with the team and has developed her blocking ability well.
When the blocking system works well, it is easier for the back row defenders to defend. It is also easier for us to launch attacks," said GS Caltex head coach Young Taik-lee.
Recruiting male approach Indonesia
According to the latest rankings of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), in Asia, Japan is still the number 1 men's volleyball team in Asia. They are ranked 6th in the world and are the only Asian representative in the top 10.
In Southeast Asia, the leading position still belongs to Indonesia with 59.29 points. The team from the archipelago is ranked 9th in Asia and 51st in the world.
Ranked second in this region is the Vietnamese men's volleyball team. Coach Tran Dinh Tien and his team are closely following the Indonesian team with 58.91 points, exactly 1 place behind their opponents in both the world and Asian rankings.
If they compete well at the AVC Challenge Cup 2025, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team can completely dethrone Indonesia to become the number 1 men's volleyball team in Southeast Asia.
