Thanh Thuy says goodbye to her family
On his personal page, the father of the main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Mr. Tran Trong Hien - posted a photo with his daughter. Mr. Hien shared: "Celebrating Tet for 38 hours. 1/2 banh chung, a few glasses of wine, receiving lucky money and then packing up to go".
After ending her contract early with the Gresik Petrokimia women's volleyball team (Indonesia), the Binh Duong-born hitter returned home on the evening of the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year. She celebrated a late New Year with her family before leaving to join the VTV Binh Dien Long An Club.

VTV Binh Dien Long An's post-Tet schedule
VTV Binh Dien Long An will end the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday to return to the team on February 3 (the 6th day of the Lunar New Year). This time, main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy will be present to join the Western team, but her next professional plan has not been revealed yet.
As soon as they return, coach Thai Quang Lai and his team will continue to practice professionally to prepare their team to participate in important tournaments such as the Hoa Lu - Binh Dien Cup 2025 and phase 1 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
Through research, VTV Binh Dien Long An will practice for a short time locally, then they will soon move to the North to get used to the climate and prepare more thoroughly before entering the new season.
Bich Thuy leaves her mark
Middle blocker Tran Thi Bich Thuy and the GS Caltex Seoul Kixx team just won 3-1 (25-13, 24-26, 25-20, 25-23) against Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi-Pass in the match of the 2024-2025 Korean National Women's Volleyball Championship.
Although she still did not receive many beautiful passes from the setter, Bich Thuy showed her ability to handle the ball skillfully and quickly in running situations. The Vietnamese spiker scored 7 points, including 3 points on blocks.
She contributed to helping GS Caltex Seoul Kixx return to winning streak. This is the 5th victory of Bich Thuy and her teammates since the beginning of the season and the 4th since the Vietnamese middle blocker joined the team.
Currently, GS Caltex Seoul Kixx is still at the bottom of the rankings, but the gap between them and the team above - Gwangju AI Peppers Savings Bank has narrowed to only 7 points.
