Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh (Information Corps)
Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh was born in 2001, the year of the snake. She is currently a member of the Information Corps Volleyball Club.
In 2024, the Quang Binh-born setter is still on the Vietnam women's volleyball team, participating in international tournaments with the team. However, due to the effects of injury, this hitter is not in the best physical condition. Her frequency of playing and scoring efficiency are therefore not high.
However, every time coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet gives her a chance, Kieu Trinh always completes her mission, tries to attack, takes the first step well, actively defends and plays aggressively.
At the club level, although the Information Corps did not have a good season, Kieu Trinh and Lam Oanh are still two players who play an important role in the team's playing style.
In 2025, with changes in the coaching bench of the Information Corps as well as the national team continuing to have many important international tournaments, Kieu Trinh is expected to return to her best form, promoting her strengths to contribute to the club and the team.
If given the chance, fans hope to see Kieu Trinh go abroad to improve her professional skills. In early 2024, she and her teammate Lam Oanh had a successful time competing, leaving a good impression when playing for Supreme Chonburi E.Tech in the second phase of the Thai National Volleyball Championship.
Nguyen Van Quoc Duy (Tra Vinh)
Nguyen Van Quoc Duy plays in the attacking position. This player belongs to Tra Vinh Sports and plays for the local men's volleyball team in the national A-class tournament.
In the 3 seasons of 2021, 2022 and 2024, the 2001-born hitter was loaned to strengthen the Tan Cang The Cong team. This opposing setter is the key factor, contributing to helping Tan Cang The Cong regularly appear in the top 3 leading teams in the national volleyball championship.
By 2025, Quoc Duy was loaned to the new recruit of the national championship, the Ho Chi Minh City Police men's team. He is expected to continue to develop his abilities and become an important member of coach Duong Tan Vinh's squad. Continuing to compete in the national volleyball championship has proven Nguyen Van Quoc Duy's appeal. This is also an opportunity for the 24-year-old setter to maintain his professional form.
This year, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team has an important task: SEA Games 33. Fans expect Quoc Duy to reappear in coach Tran Dinh Tien's squad. However, in addition to the skills he has shown, his enthusiasm and dedication, the player from Tra Vinh needs to improve his ability to defend at the net, block the ball as well as flexibly coordinate with the setter.
Tran Duy Tuyen (Border Guard)
Tran Duy Tuyen is one of the outstanding players of Vietnamese men's volleyball in recent times and is considered one of the two best middle blockers at present, alongside Truong The Khai.
With a height of 1m91, powerful and clever playing style, Duy Tuyen is not only strong in finishing situations at position 3 but also blocks very quickly and cleverly in every situation at the net.
At the national team level, the 2001-born middle blocker is part of the national team participating in international tournaments in 2024.
At SEA V.League 2024, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team did not achieve good results, but Duy Tuyen still showed his personal mark. He made a great contribution to the playing style proposed by coach Tran Dinh Tien and won the title of "Best Middle Blocker" of the tournament.
Returning to the club, continuing to be led by coach Tran Dinh Tien, Duy Tuyen has brought into full play all of his strengths, making great contributions to helping the Border Guard club win the 2024 National Volleyball Championship.
With the above marks, Duy Tuyen is expected to continue to promote his ability and have a successful year at the club level as well as the national team.
