Still struggling to find a chance to beat Thailand
The 2025 World Championship has just ended in Thailand and we left our mark by winning the home team in the final of the women's 4-a-side team to win the Gold Medal. Head coach of the Vietnam Women's Club Team - Ms. Tran Thi Vui expressed: "This year's World Championship is the effort of the players. The Thai team is always strong in all events, but we won against you right in Thailand, which is a result of great professional value".
In terms of expertise, this year's Gold Medal is considered the second time we have won the 4-women's women's team world championship.
Previously, the Vietnam Cloud Football Team won the championship in 2023. Last year, the Vietnamese athlete lost to Thailand in the final of the above event and only won a Silver Medal. In early 2025, the Vietnamese cloud team competed in the 2025 World Cup (World Cup 2025) and beat the Thai women's team to win the championship cup in the women's 4-a-side team event.
Cloud bridge is being identified by the Vietnam Department of Physical Education and Sports as an important sport to invest in building the goal of winning Gold Medals at the SEA Games and ASIAD. In fact, through many stages of coaching and competition with the best teams of male and female players, Vietnamese cloud football has always been wary of Thailand in all competitions. If we cannot beat the Thai team, we have very little chance to conquer high results at the SEA Games or ASIAD.
World champion but really strong?
Winning consecutive Gold Medals at the 2025 World Championship and the 2025 World Cup is not too early to confirm that Vietnam's cloud computing is truly strong in leading Southeast Asia or Asia.
Some experts believe that we temporarily surpassed the Thai cloud team in the women's 4-a-side team event. In terms of overall achievements, Vietnam's cloud demand still needs to invest more strongly to create prominence at the SEA Games or ASIAD.
In 2006, we won 2 Gold Medals in cloud badminton for the first time at the ASIAD (team event, doubles). At the 2023 ASIAD in China, the Vietnam Cloud Board Team won the Gold Medal for the 4-women's team here. However, the Thai team did not participate in this event at the 19th ASIAD.
For the 30-2021 SEA Games and 32-2023 SEA Games, the Vietnamese cloud computing team lost to the Thai team in the final match of the 4-women's team.

The sports industry assigned targets for the Vietnam Women's Cloud Football Team to win Gold Medals at the 33-2025 SEA Games and the 20th ASIAD in 2026. We have begun to focus on building a target force for the 4-woman team event. The players who competed for the Gold Medal in the above event at the 19th ASIAD are still the main force in the Vietnam Women's Cloud Football Team.
By 2026, many athletes are still at the peak of their careers and expertise, so we hope they will have good results at the 20th ASIAD, Mr. Le Thanh Son added.
